New COO at Sullivan Takes the Reins

(Sullivan) announced today that Scott Blount, PG, has agreed to join the Sullivan Executive Management Team as Chief Operations Officer working out of the San Francisco office. Scott has achieved phenomenal success during his 25 plus year career in both Operations Management and Business Development; he has earned the equivalent of "employee of the year" awards from two of his previous three multinational employers. He served most recently as Senior Vice President and Division Manager for Weston Solutions, Inc. (WESTON), with responsibilities for all of Weston's operations on the west coast, including Alaska. Over the past several years, Sullivan has established strong strategic ties to Weston Solutions and the addition of Scott on Sullivan's executive leadership team will provide a mutual benefit specifically related to several DoD contracts where Sullivan and Weston are performing in formal joint ventures.

Scott received his B.A. in Geology, Cum Laude, from Trinity University in Texas and his M.S. in Geology, Summa Cum Laude, from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. He is currently a member of American Institute of Professional Geologists and Society of American Military Engineers.
