Media Advisory: Story Idea for "Fab Forts Weekend"
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/14/12 -- In preparation for the "Fab Forts Weekend" on August 18 and 19, Parks Canada offers an opportunity to develop a national or local story highlighting the fascinating stories and contemporary appeal of Parks Canada's historic forts.
Throughout the Parks Canada "Fab Forts Weekend" visitors will be able to enjoy these special places that have long been at the centre of their communities, and to participate in special activities at many "Fab Forts" across the country. This year's edition of the "Fab Forts Weekend" will have the bi-centennial of the War of 1812 as a backdrop.
Each fort is a National Historic Site and has its own specialists who will be pleased to share this weekend of discovery and their "Fab Fort" stories!
