DAkkS Has Accredited Tektronix to Perform Onsite Calibration for Electronic Instruments Covering All Countries in the European Community
(firmenpresse) - COLOGNE, GERMANY -- (Marketwire) -- 08/06/12 -- Tektronix (service-solutions.tektronix.com), the industry's leading multi-vendor service (MVS) provider of instrument calibration, repair and related services, today announced that it has received accreditation to perform on-site calibration for electronic instruments by the DAkkS accreditation body in the Federal Republic of Germany. Onsite calibration services can provide significant cost advantages and minimize downtime, offering superior quality without disrupting business.
Not limited by manufacturer, the accreditation strengthens Tektronix' growing MVS capabilities in Europe. The scope of the DAkkS accreditation is recognized internationally and covers all countries in the European community. Tektronix already has calibration labs in the UK, France, Germany, Russia and the Netherlands.
Covering onsite calibration for oscilloscopes and probes, both for voltage and current, and both for active and passive probes, this accreditation means that Tektronix will be able to perform calibrations for the following parameters: DC voltage measurement, DC voltage generation, DC current generation, Risetime measurement, Risetime generation, Oscilloscope with Oscilloscope Calibrator: DC voltage generation, Sine Frequency Response generation, AC voltage (sine) generation, DC resistance measurement, DC voltage measurement and Frequency.
