Focus on Efficiency Drives Increase
(firmenpresse) - AJAX, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 08/02/12 -- continued their string of consecutive record sales months in July, reporting robust sales of 4,807 cars and light trucks, a figure 6.3% above the previous mark; set just last year. The company is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2012 and its 135 dealers have sold a total of 33,669 new vehicles through the first half of the year, 7% above last year's record pace.
"Thanks to their excellent combination of fuel efficiency, quality and great value, our cars and light trucks continue to find new audiences in Canada," stated John White, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Canada. "We have tailored our product to deliver what the consumer is looking for."
