View Systems Awarded Contract for New Enhanced ViewScan Weapons Detection System
(firmenpresse) - BALTIMORE, MD -- (Marketwire) -- 08/01/12 -- View Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: VSYM), a weapons detection and access control provider, announced today the company has been awarded an additional $250,000 plus contract for Detroit installations. The enhanced, redesigned flagship product, the SecureScan, has been successfully selected for applications including homeland security, critical infrastructure and commercial command centers.
View Systems has teamed with local manufacturers and integrators to expand its products and market share. Through a new relationship with an Investment Banking Firm in Atlanta, Georgia, as announced in our previous release, the company has the necessary capital to rapidly manufacture the additional units. The company will begin manufacturing immediately. The updates and expansion includes enhancements for existing orders.
View has also expended funds towards incorporating the SecureScan portal with Facial Recognition Technology and is expanding its sales and marketing operations. Resources have been devoted to supporting business development division and enhancing the department's sales staff.
