Top New England Dairy Brand Holding Sampling Event in Four New England Cities
(firmenpresse) - LYNNFIELD, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/31/12 -- Hood® Ice Cream today announced that it will be celebrating National Ice Cream Sandwich Day in four cities across New England on Thursday, August 2nd. Fans of in New England can enjoy samples of Hood's famous ice cream sandwiches, photo opportunities with a Hood Ice Cream Sandwich character, coupons, and more. The first-annual celebration will be taking place simultaneously from noon to 2:00 p.m. in Boston, MA; Hampton Beach, NH; Portland, ME; and West Hartford, CT.

Hood will be celebrating on August 2nd from noon to 2:00 p.m., rain or shine, in the following locations:
Boston, MA: City Hall Plaza at 1 City Hall Square
Hampton Beach, NH: Outside of the Casino Ballroom at 169 Ocean Boulevard
Portland, ME: Outside of Dimillo's Restaurant at 25 Long Wharf
West Hartford, CT: Blue Back Square at 65 Memorial Road
As a special addition to the Portland event, the Hood Blimp will be making its return to the New England skies for the first time in four years and will be visible to guests attending the sampling event in the Old Port area of Portland.
