The 800x480 (WVGA) Colour TFT LCD uses an integral LED backlight system with a minimum 30 000 hours to half brightness lifetime and an excellent contrast ratio of 800:1. Rapid dimming via PWM is made possible by the integrated LED driver, which makes the need to generate non-standard voltages obsolete.
