These visionary companies have a combined history of over 100 years of improving and innovating the way that American pets are fed, groomed and cared for.
Lone Star Pet was originally operated by two families, until 1965 when the Billimek family acquired the company. In 1977 the company became one of the first distributors in the United States of a premium dog and cat food that was designed to address the worries of concerned pet owners. The product was called Hill's Science Diet. In 1986, Mr. Billimek's nephew, Dennis Stahl, took over the family business and the company grew to be one of the most successful distributors of pet supplies in the region. As times have changed, Lone Star Pet Supply has changed with them, improving their service and expanding their distribution areas to include customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
