WCG London Ranked 12 Among Healthcare Firms in PRWeek UK League Tables
Highest Growth Rate of All Ranked Healthcare Firms Driven by New Hires, Integrated Organic Business
(firmenpresse) - LONDON -- (Marketwire) -- 07/24/12 -- WCG, a global independent communications agency, today announced its London office ranked 12 and had the highest growth rate (116%) over last year among healthcare firms in PRWeek UK's League Tables. Singled out as 'one to watch,' WCG London was ranked 87 in the Top 150 PR Consultancies overall.
This recognition follows WCG London being shortlisted for Independent Consultancy of the Year at the 2012 Communiqué Awards and being named 2011 International Healthcare Consultancy of the Year by the Holmes Report.

While a leader in healthcare communications in the United States for several years, WCG London is a fairly new player and these achievements highlight the firm's growing presence and strength in the region. The office has grown from about five people when it was established in May of 2008 to nearly 25 currently, having made several new hires already this year to support new and organic UK, European and global business for its clients.
Christine Tadgell joined the WCG London team in May 2012 as Managing Director, bringing over 19 years of pharmaceutical experience in business strategy and operations.

Justine Brodie, who recently graduated from Manchester University and sought to establish her career in healthcare communications during her studies through work experience at other prestigious agencies. Justine speaks fluent French; Sarah Horgan, who brings over four years' experience in the cardiovascular field gained while working for the Irish Heart Foundation. Her specific expertise is in the field of advocacy relations; and Valeria Kaplan, who joins from EMBO (European Molecular Biology Organisation) where she was responsible for publications, liaison with scientists and researchers in the field of molecular biology and production of symposia content. Valeria is fluent in German, Russian and Hebrew.
