(firmenpresse) - TROY, MI -- (Marketwire) -- 07/16/12 -- Great news for vendors planning on exhibiting at The ASSEMBLY Show () launch taking place October 28-30, 2013 at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois. BNP Media has announced there will be no drayage fees for all shipments sent directly to the Rosemont Convention Center. The ASSEMBLY Show, presented by ASSEMBLY Magazine, is the only event to focus exclusively on assembly technology, equipment and products.

"We are 100% dedicated to assembly, and willing to do what it takes to deliver the most compelling event in the industry. The main attraction for attendees at a trade show is the opportunity to view live demonstrations of new products. To encourage exhibitors to bring their large equipment to this working-product show floor, we are picking up all direct-to-dock drayage fees including surcharges and overtime," said Tom Esposito, Publisher, ASSEMBLY Magazine. "Drayage fees are typically the largest expense at a manufacturing event, creating a huge burden for exhibitors who want to display a heavy product. By eliminating these fees we are making The ASSEMBLY Show more affordable and accessible to exhibitors."

"Schleuniger is excited to be a part of this new exhibition and to have the opportunity to continue to strengthen our relationship with ASSEMBLY Magazine. We look forward to connecting with customers in a new environment and sharing our solutions in a fresh venue," said Darren Teasck, President and General Manager, Schleuniger Inc.

Schleuniger joins a growing list of companies already committed to participating. Space at The ASSEMBLY Show has exceeded expectations, and the floor plan has been expanded by 25% from the initial space commitment, which sold out in a matter of weeks. Over 60 companies have already signed up to exhibit and thousands of manufacturing engineers and managers from companies making automobiles, consumer products, electronics, medical devices, machinery, appliances and more will attend.
