Electrolux Assigns Senior U.S. Executive to Canada to Lead Canister Vacuum Product Development for North America
Consumer insights in Canada help define product decisions across North America
(firmenpresse) - MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 07/16/12 -- Canadians' affinity for canister vacuums has prompted Electrolux to appoint Scott Bolbock to the company's Canadian headquarters in Mississauga. Bolbock and his team are leading canister and power head development for Electrolux Home Care Products across North America.
The 30-year industry veteran, who started his career as a product manager for Eureka in Bloomington, Il, leads a team responsible for the development, growth and product strategy for canister vacuums for Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Bolbock's team is working closely with international design teams on a range of models and features for the Electrolux and Eureka brands.
"Canadians love their vacuums, especially if they come in the shape of a canister," said Bolbock. "This was the main driver behind the decision to base the canister vacuum team here in Canada."
Bolbock and his Mississauga team are working on a number of products being introduced in the coming months.
"Canadian consumer insights are at the forefront of the product decisions we are making across all our canister product lines," said Bolbock. "We are introducing product innovations like more power and efficiency, lightweight materials, fewer moving parts and smart technology that are going to affect the form and function of our products for years to come."
