Smart Card Alliance Recognizes Top Industry Council Contributors for Advancing Knowledge and Acceptance of Smart Card Technology
(firmenpresse) - PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 07/16/12 -- Since forming eight years ago, have become leading resources for information and education on the acceptance, use, and applications of smart card technology for identity, payment, transit, access control, and mobile applications. To honor the members that have devoted themselves to Council projects, the Smart Card Alliance has announced the and for 2012.

The Smart Card Alliance Industry Councils -- Access Control, Healthcare, Identity, Payments, Transportation, and new Mobile and NFC -- are led by members, with deliverables developed by member volunteers. The Councils have made significant contributions to the smart card industry through publishing education and outreach material for different markets, holding educational events, webinars and workshops on key topics, responding to issues in the media, developing industry comments and positions on key government initiatives, and establishing relationships with other key industry groups.
