Urban Partners, LLC Names James Atkins Managing Director of Harbor Urban, LLC
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/10/12 -- Urban Partners, LLC, a full-service investment and development firm, has appointed James Atkins as Managing Director of Seattle-based Harbor Urban, LLC, announced Urban Partners principal Matt Burton.
In this new position, Atkins will provide executive leadership to the team and manage the day-to-day business activities of Harbor Urban, which represents the Pacific Northwest and was recently formed as a venture between Urban Partners, LLC and AREA Property Partners.

Before being tapped to lead Harbor Urban, Atkins previously acted as principal and partner with Urban Partners in Los Angeles on a number of in both the Pacific Northwest and Southern California markets.

With more than 20 years of executive management experience working with numerous stakeholders, partners, investors and lenders in both urban and rural communities, Atkins has led and managed multidisciplinary teams that have capitalized and developed a wide variety of complex projects including nearly 3,500 mixed-use residential homes, more than 1,000 (LEED Silver+) for-sale and for-rent homes, hospitality and resort projects.
Most recently, Atkins, who is also a partner of Williams/Dame and Associates, successfully broke ground on the new Marriott Hotel project in downtown Los Angeles. Prior to working with Urban Partners, Atkins served as Managing Director for Merlone Geier Partners and The South Group.
