ABSINTHEXPLORE – A revolutionary sampling scheme for absinthe

(firmenpresse) - Sölden, 0th July 2012: The online vendor for absinthe, www.absinthes.com (owned by Oxygénée Deutschland Ltd.) has been selling absinthe and absinthe accessories quite successfully over the past years. Now, they have developed a sampling system for absinthe, called ABSINTHEXPLORE, which will make absinthe accessible to everyone of legal drinking age.

Absinthe can be quite expensive, and this is easy to explain: First of all, there are numerous herbs used for each absinthe, one of them, wormwood – which is also the main ingredient in every absinthe – is very rare and proofs very different standards of quality. Secondly, most of the recipes distillers follow when making absinthe, carry a prestigious history. To choose from the wide range of absinthes offered, and having to distinguish between the many different taste notes and origins of absinthe, it is obvious that consumers new to the world of absinthe, cannot keep up.

This is why Absinthes.com has developed this sampling scheme. It enables consumers to order a selection of different absinthes in small, 5cl glass tubes, and to taste them before committing to buying a whole bottle. Also for the occasional absinthe drinker, this scheme is perfect.
