Brighton College Launches 'Brighton Battle' Video Contest Offering Scholarship Prizes of Up to $10,000
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 07/04/12 -- Brighton College is preparing to launch a video contest, the that will offer three winners scholarship prizes of between $2.5K-10K in tuition for creatively showcasing how an education with Brighton College will help land their dream jobs.
Brighton College, a vocational education and career training college based in Vancouver and Burnaby, strives to benefit its surrounding community by offering quality programs that assist its students in obtaining valuable careers. To meet this objective of benefiting the community, the college has chosen to generously offer deserving and ambitious individuals a chance to obtain higher education in the fields of , , , , and at little cost. Through means of a video contest, Brighton College is offering scholarship prizes of up to $10,000 in tuition (usable towards any program) along with several other prizes including an iPad 3 and one of 10 Best Buy gift cards valued at $100 each.
In order to win, participating individuals should submit a 2 minute video showcasing their dream jobs while demonstrating how attending Brighton College will help get them there. Judging criteria will focus on capturing benefits of attaining higher education at Brighton College, creativity, aesthetics, technical skill, as well as the number of public votes. Video submissions are being accepted at . The contest begins July 1st, 2012 at 12:00am PST and ends September 3rd, 2012 at 11:59pm PST. Voting on video entries ends September 7th at 11:59 p.m. PST with winners to be announced shortly after.
