JLT Mobile Computers Launches Trade-In Offer when Buying New JLT1214S Truck Computer

JLT Mobile Computers, developer of reliable computers for demanding
environments, has today launched a trade-in campaign where customers during a
limited time are offered a discount when purchasing a new JLT1214S truck
computer if they turn in their old computer in any condition to JLT for
recycling. JLT also accepts computers from other manufacturers. The campaign
started today and will run until October 1, 2012.
Customers that buy the popular JLT1214S truck computer from JLT will be offered
250 EUR for a used vehicle-mount JLT computer or 200 EUR for a vehicle-mount
computer of a different brand.
The dust and water proof (IP65-rated) JLT1214S computer is optimized for
warehouse and logistics applications. It is configured with the low-power Intel®
Atom(TM) 1.6 GHz processor, 2 GB RAM, 12 inch XGA display and touch, and
selectable boot media and operating system. The computer has all important
functions required in a warehouse application built in, including wireless
communication (WLAN and Bluetooth) for mobile use, 18-72 V isolated DC/DC
converter for simple installation and a backup battery for switching the battery
in an electrical truck while the computer is running. Further, the JLT1214S
computer is offered as part of the JLT off-the-shelf (OTS) program and is
available for immediate delivery in small to medium volumes.
