Arquitectonica Wins 2012 Asia Pacific Property Awards and Announces Groundbreaking of "The ONE" in Ho Chi Minh City
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/25/12 -- Arquitectonica's newly opened Two E-com project won the prestigious "Best Office Development in the Philippines" in the 2012 Asia Pacific Property Awards held on April 27 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Simultaneously on April 27, Arquitectonica celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony of the new 55-storey double tower, mixed-use landmark in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam with Bitexco.
Two E-com is a 68,000sqm office development located in the Mall of Asia Complex in Metro Manila. Opened in the first quarter of 2012, the building was designed to provide the new headquarters for SM Land, as well as continuing SM's expansion into the business process outsourcing (BPO) market, one of the most rapidly growing industries in the Philippines. The design consists of two, diagonally opposing towers rising from a podium base with a dynamic contrast of forms and shades. The great arch, which joins the towers, has turned the project into one of the capital's memorable landmarks.
Arquitectonica's esteemed project, "The ONE," occupies sleek towers and will stand an impressive 240 meters when completed in 2015 with approximately 150,000sqm in floor area. The project comprises a 250-room Ritz Carlton Hotel, offices in the 55-storey West Tower and luxury apartments in the 48-storey East Tower. The architectural form reflects the two symbolic dragons of Vietnam rising from the heart of the city.
