Lakeland Suspends Operations at Planer Mill and District Energy System

(firmenpresse) - PRINCE GEORGE, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/22/12 -- Lakeland Mills has temporarily closed its planer mill and shut down its district energy system as a precautionary measure. The action was taken as a result of monitoring that found unusually high levels of methane gas at the Lakeland Mills site.
A media teleconference will be held this morning at 11:45 a.m. PDT to provide details on Lakeland's response to this issue. Greg Stewart, president of Sinclar Group Forest Products, of which Lakeland Mills is a division, will address the media and take questions.
