Educational Video Game Platform Seeks to Boost U.S. Middle and High School STEM Education

Survival! is the first of six educational video games planned for the groundbreaking ™ serious gaming platform developed by to boost science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) curricula for middle and high school students. Announced last week, MdBio Foundation will offer MdBioSphere and games like Survival! free of charge to science teachers and students nationwide beginning in 2013.
BIO Convention attendees and media may visit MdBio Foundation's booth (#0753) to play the mini-game of Survival! June 19-20, 2012. MdBioSphere is being designed by Hunt Valley, Md.-based , and is the first serious game platform to be mapped to the Next Generation Science Standards being drafted by the states.
