Government Reform Proposals to MK Shaul Mofaz Ignite Excitement for Change
(firmenpresse) - BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/13/12 -- Neil Kadisha, CEO of Omninet Capital, congratulates CECI on their significant achievements resulting from the May 31, 2012, exclusive, closed-door meeting at Tel Aviv University between Israeli civic leaders and members of The Citizens' Empowerment Center in Israel's "Forum for Government Stability." During the meeting, Forum members submitted a proposal of four government reform initiatives to the Deputy Prime Minister and Kadima Party leader, MK Shaul Mofaz. Participants at the meeting included: Izak Parviz Nazarian, Dora Kadisha, Michael Strauss, Nochi Dankner, Amos Shapira, Ron Nachman, Professor Shimon Shitrit, Elisha Yanai, Erez Meltzer, Gus Kaplan, Galia Albin, Shraga Brosh and Uri Dori.
During the meeting, Forum members asked Deputy Minister Mofaz to initiate a governmental resolution to form a team of professional experts who will coordinate the government reform efforts. In accordance with the Forum members' request, Mofaz agreed to assemble a team of professional experts under the title
MK Mofaz congratulated the businessmen for holding the meeting by stating, "The 2 issues we agreed upon in the 'unity coalition agreement' are both a top national priority. They include: I chose to join a unified national government in order to promote the core issues of the State of Israel. The new committee will commence its work as of June 2012 and will put an emphasis on government transparency and representation. I believe that the public must be involved and take part in this important process."
Izak Parviz Nazarian commented, "It is time to translate the reform initiative into practice. The bills and the recommendation to form a team of professional experts under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister Mofaz enable the immediate promotion of necessary changes in favor of securing political stability in Israel for the benefit of all citizens."

Neil Kadisha, a businessman and philanthropist, co-founded Omninet, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer. Omninet subsequently joined forces with Qualcomm in 1988. Kadisha served on the board of directors of Qualcomm for 14 years, from 1988 - 2002.
