MEDIA ADVISORY: Fitness Industry Council of Canada Introduces MenuTruth.ca
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 06/11/12 -- Fitness Industry Council of Canada ("FIC") will host a Fitness Day on the Hill to propose new caloric menu legislation called that will advocate for restaurants with 10 or more locations to post calories on menu boards and flag high sodium content.
On June 12th, 2012 at 12:00pm on Parliament Hill, Members of Parliament and FIC members from across Canada will come together to advocate for this important piece of legislation.
Speaking remarks will be made by the President of FIC, Mr. Dave Hardy, followed by exercise classes on the hill run by CURVES and Fitness Fusion at 12:05pm.
Mr. Dave Hardy will be available for media interviews and photo opportunities immediately following brief remarks at 12:05pm.
