TASER International Launching Long-Term Presence in Brazil
Receives Significant Brazilian Order for 800 TASER X26 ECDs
(firmenpresse) - SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 06/07/12 -- (NASDAQ: TASR) today announced that it is investing in its long-term presence in Brazil. As part of this process, TASER unveiled its Portuguese-language version of its website and is negotiating final terms to manufacture its products in Brazil.
In addition, TASER also received a significant order from a Brazilian law enforcement agency. The order received is for 800 electronic control devices (ECDs) and various related accessories. This order is expected to ship in the second quarter of 2012. Further customer information is not being released at this time.
