MyBike Expands Bike Rental Business Into Larger Boston Location
(firmenpresse) - BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/06/12 -- MyBike today announced that it has successfully relocated its and repair headquarters to a larger location to accommodate its expanded inventory, services and staff. MyBike, one of Boston's fastest-growing bicycle sales, rental, repair and concierge companies, is open for business in at 516 E. 2nd St. At its new location, MyBike can offer more customer parking, access to a larger array of bikes for rent and purchase, and an expanded service area. MyBike will host a grand opening event on Saturday, June 23.
"When MyBike began, we had 10 bikes for rent and only serviced customers in the immediate Northeastern University area. Today, MyBike has a fleet of more than 200 rental bikes that serve the entire metro region, as well as a large inventory of new retail bikes and a full-service repair and concierge department," said LeRoy Watkins III, founder and president of MyBike. "Our rapid growth required a larger place to headquarter the business. We chose the South Boston location because it is a true neighborhood environment, and we're proud to be part of it."
MyBike's doors are already open, but the company will host a grand opening on Saturday, June 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bicycle lovers of all ages are invited to tour the new headquarters, enjoy refreshments, check out the expanded rental fleet and retail inventory, receive tips on bike and helmet safety and meet the MyBike team of rental concierges and repair experts.
