Vicone Launches the WINNOVATE Award
(firmenpresse) - SAINT-EUSTACHE, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 06/05/12 -- Vicone High Performance Rubber, a value-added supplier of custom molded and extruded high performance rubber parts, has launched the WINNOVATE award for its North American clientele. The award emphasizes forward-thinking and innovation work at organizations.
The recipient will be recognized for its creative project involving a new custom rubber part or prototype, or improving of an existing part. Whether it's choosing the right specifications and rubber material, optimizing an existing design or creating a new one, Vicone wants to assist its clients in their continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
"We keep saying it: organizations that want to succeed must be committed to innovation and this award is a way for Vicone to recognize and reward these efforts," said Vicone President Eric Leclair. "With our design services, real rubber prototyping and strategic production, Vicone supports its customers in their entire product development process. Selection Criteria
Vicone will select the winner based on the project characteristics; it must demonstrate an innovative approach, present a clear competitive advantage and positively impact business growth and revenue. Examples of projects that would qualify include a product that does not currently exist on the market or that uses a unique process, a higher quality or enhanced product, or one that reduces production costs by its design or ecodesign.
The winner will earn a credit applicable to the production of the project's parts equivalent to 50%, and up to a maximum of $5,000, of Vicone's conception and design, prototyping or adaptation services used in the development of the project. The winner will be featured in a Vicone Case Study highlighting its creative project/product and will also receive a trophy providing a souvenir of the achievement.
Entries for the WINNOVATE award are due by September 28. Projects will be evaluated by Vicone High Performance Rubber executives with the winner announced in November. For more information on the award and to participate, visit the official WINNOVATE award page at
