Sky Poker, widely renowned for their vast supply , are delighted to announce that their popular Sky Poker Tour is set to hit the seaside town of Blackpool on the 23rd and 24th June, with a guaranteed GBP 30,000 included in the prize pool.
The fourth Sky Poker Tour has been running since October 29th, and with a guaranteed prize pool of GBP 250,000, it is an event that's proved extremely popular with serious poker player. Satellite competitions for the main events have been open throughout the season, allowing players to win seats to the main events from as little as GBP 1.35!
As we approach leg 6 of the tour, things are heating up. The G-Casino in Blackpool will host the first ever Bounty Hunter tournament of the Sky Poker Tour. This means that competitors will earn a "bounty" each time they eliminate another player from the competition. Upon entrance, players will contribute GBP 150 to the prize pool and start the competition with a GBP 50 bounty on their head - which is then won by the player who eliminates them from the contest.
Bounties are cumulative and are retained even if you are eliminated. In the event of elimination, players can then take their collected bounties to the Sky Poker team, who will then accredit their Sky Poker account.
Even if playing in the tournament isn't to everybody's taste, there are still some great reasons to attend the event. Professional players from Sky Poker's television channel will be present, competing in the main and side events. There will also be the opportunity to meet the staff, analysts and presenters working at Sky Poker.
Priority customers will be able to buy-in directly to the Sky Poker Tour events.
