New Unemployment Figures Prove It's Just Not Working: Let Freedom Ring Ads Show Truth About Unemployment
(firmenpresse) - PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwire) -- 06/01/12 -- Today's unemployment claims rose significantly, with an increase of 10,000 Americans filing for unemployment benefits. When approximately three million missing workers too discouraged to seek work are counted, the nation's actual unemployment is 14.8 percent.
To highlight the three million workers missing from the current economy, is promoting its new advertisement about "Missing Workers," which is now running on radio stations in Philadelphia after a successful television run in test markets helped lower President Obama's approval rating by a total of 13 points.
The national polling company, GEB International, performed a series of surveys in Johnstown, Pa., Youngstown, Ohio and the control market of Pittsburgh, Pa. that found a nine-day advertising campaign run jointly by Let Freedom Ring and Independent Women's Voice that included the "Missing Workers" advertisement lowered President Obama's approval rating six points in Youngstown and eight points in Johnstown, while his approval rating increased six points in the control market of Pittsburgh where "Missing Workers" ads did not appear.
