(firmenpresse) - DENVER, CO and CARTWRIGHT, ND -- (Marketwire) -- 05/30/12 -- Sustainable Environmental Technologies Corp.'s ("") (OTCQB: SETS) (PINKSHEETS: SETS) wholly owned subsidiary has begun drilling saltwater disposal well (SWD) CL 11-2 in the midst of one of the Bakken Shale's hotbeds for new shale oil wells. CL 11-2 is the first in a new class of state of the art, highly automated SWD facilities to be launched anywhere in the US.

Each shale oil well produces thousands of barrels of wastewater that is laden with organics, large amount of salt, minerals and substances that require the services of saltwater disposal wells for proper disposal.

"Our CL 11-2 well is ideally located within 1000 feet of a soon-to-be-drilled oil well and multiple oil wells within a 10-mile radius," pronounced Keith Morlock, President of ProWater and V.P. of SET Corp. "We'll be providing critical services to nearby wells, relieving them of the expense of trucking produced water to far off SWD wells, while preserving the environment by reducing road wear, tear and emissions. Additionally, our ProWater facilities can recover oil particles and other components from the water, enabling us to provide the treated recycled water for other oil field water needs while greatly reducing their demand for fresh water from other sources."

ProWater's first SWD well in the Bakken formation, is located near a major highway, in Cartwright, N.D., McKenzie County. Once drilling is finished, ProWater will complete installation of the Centerline SWD system and begin testing the system with small volumes of produced water, then gradually ramp up production. The company anticipates that by yearend, well CL 11-2 will be processing more then half of its capacity of 8,000 to 10,000 barrels per day of produced water.

ProWater's Centerline SWD™ system is a fully modular, movable system that can be built year round in climate-controlled facilities and quickly erected when and where needed. This is a key factor in locales such as the Bakken Shale formation where winter temperatures can reach -40°F (-40°C).
