The complex consists of five single-story industrial facilities as follows: 368,144 sq. ft. main fabricating building; 70,400 sq. ft. crawler assembly building; 52,668 central parts warehouse; 8,240 former paint shop/storage building; and 2,975 sq. ft. operations service office. The site offers parking for approximately 175 vehicles. It was originally served by multiple rail spurs and reconnections are possible.
Key features of the modern facilities include 6"-8" reinforced concrete floors; steel columns; ceiling heights from 32'4" to 52' in the main plant, 62' clear in the assembly facility and to 24' in the warehouse; T-5 metal halide and sodium vapor lighting; all utilities; one 65-ton bridge crane, one 30-ton crane, nine 15-ton bridge cranes, eight 10-ton bridge cranes, three 5-ton cranes, and one 2-ton cranes -- all pendant or remote controlled; multiple oversized drive-in doors; and three dock-high loading doors.
The property is located minutes from the North Carolina State Port and approximately ten minutes south of the terminus of four-lane US Highway 74 and I-40 in Wilmington. The Wilmington Commercial Airport is approximately 15 minutes north of the complex.
