Local Business Nexus Booms, Despite Financial Fears
(firmenpresse) - LEEDS, ENGLAND -- (Marketwire) -- 05/28/12 -- Local Leeds business, Nexus Workspace, and leading Yorkshire transport company, Viamaster Transport, are flying in the face of the latest economy fears to prove that a little tenacity and determination can go a long way.
While the world continues to suffer in the clutches of financial crisis, Morley based Viamaster Transport, a family owned company headed by brothers David and Andrew Warrington, has continued to enjoy a fantastic rate of year on year growth - so much so that they have just acquired a new 80,000 square foot distribution centre in Normanton, Wakefield. This has allowed a new relationship to develop between these two local companies, with Nexus Workspace having recently been awarded the contract to complete the full office fit out for their new premises.
Having been impressed by the professionalism and quality of work provided by Nexus, David and the team at Viamaster are looking forward to getting the project underway. He says: 'From the outset Nexus have demonstrated that they are the company we should work with, showing us fantastic show sites they have completed in the local area, namely the similar fit out for DHL around the corner'.
Nexus Workspace have been appointed to build over 8,000 square feet of office space over two levels, utilising to give Viamaster the space they need for their new transport office. The project will also include staircases, partitioning, plumbing works, electrics & data, air conditioning, new external windows, floor coverings, suspended ceilings, joinery works, canteen facilities and much more.
Mathew Barnes, Operations Director at Nexus, will be taking the role of project manager for this new and exciting venture. Having been responsible for some of the largest projects in the company's history, his experience will be vital for its execution and success: 'The key is in the preparation,' says Mathew, "a great project plan, matched with detailed drawings, is the winning formula to delivering a project on time and on budget - and with experienced site foreman, Ben Hunter on the team, we know we'll end up with a great end product."
Sales Director David Newsome adds: 'This is a great contract for our company to win; we've been working closely with the Viamaster team on this proposal for the last few months, and we're confident that we have everything in place to build a fantastic facility to help them enjoy continued growth.' The project is due to start in early May 2012, and is expected to last 18 weeks.
