Labhart Miles Celebrates 10th Anniversary by Donating to Southern California Non-Profit
(firmenpresse) - SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 05/23/12 -- Silicon Valley-based firm Labhart Miles Consulting Group, Inc. named the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim to receive $1,000 as the third installment of their $10,000 Charity Initiative, which will run through December 2012. A new charity will be selected to receive Labhart Miles' gift each month in honor of the firm's 10th anniversary.
"The $1,000 donation we received from Labhart Miles will underwrite the cost of transporting four motel youth to and from the Boys and Girls Clubs facilities for an entire year," said Michael Baker, Executive Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim. "Because of their support, four youth who would normally call the parking lot of their motel a playground are now able to play at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Anaheim."
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Anaheim rely heavily on the generosity of its community partners, local businesses, grantors, and individual donors to sustain Club operations needed to continue to help children in the community.
"We are thrilled our gift can help make a difference in the lives of young people, which is really the whole point of our $10,000 Charity Initiative," said Monika Miles, President of Labhart Miles.
Labhart Miles will select charities in a variety of fields, from soup kitchens and food banks to children's organizations and cancer societies. In addition to non-profits that are near and dear to the principals' hearts, they're looking for causes that provide valuable services to the greater community.
