Removal of "Wanted by the CBSA" Individual
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/22/12 -- The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) today announced the removal of Tarquin Seemongal, who is featured on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list.
The CBSA apprehended Tarquin Seemongal on May 4 in the Montreal area. Seemongal is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality for being convicted of breaking and entering with intent, robbery, forcible confinement and using a firearm while committing an offence. In addition, he has been convicted of assault, obstruction and conspiracy. He was removed from Canada on May 17.
To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, Canadians have assisted in locating 25 individuals in Canada, while five individuals were located abroad. Additionally, the CBSA has removed 18 of these individuals from Canada.
Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA Web site. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
