Kansas Facial Plastic Surgeons Say Spring "Tune-Ups" Are Gaining Popularity

Kriet and Humphrey say traditionally popular months for treatment such as March, April, and May will continue to be popular seasons for undergoing a procedure. The AAFPRS study also shows that patients are now showing more prevalent use of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, a statistic which Dr. Kriet says reflects an increasing desire to achieve meaningful and natural results with minimal downtime.

They say patients are most often looking to restore and rejuvenate their facial appearance before spending extended periods of time in the sun and outdoor lighting. Dr. Kriet is a Diplomat and Senior Examiner of the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery, a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
A graduate of the University of Missouri and the University of Missouri School of Medicine, completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Illinois-Chicago Medical Center. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Facial Plastic Surgery at Kansas University Medical Center.
