Media Advisory/REMINDER: Government of Canada to Announce Important New Investments in Research
(firmenpresse) - OTTAWA, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/22/12 -- The Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for Science and Technology, and representatives from the Canada Foundation for Innovation, will announce new investments in research infrastructure at colleges across Canada.
A photo opportunity will take place following the announcement and key spokespersons will be available for interviews. The event will conclude with a tour and infrastructure demonstration.
Created by the Government of Canada in 1997, the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) strives to build our nation's capacity to undertake world-class research and technology development to benefit Canadians through investments in state-of-the-art facilities and equipment in universities, colleges, research hospitals and non-profit research institutions.
