SPARQ Systems Inc. Appoints New President
(firmenpresse) - KINGSTON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/15/12 -- SPARQ Systems today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Jan Dressel as President & Managing Director effective immediately.
Mr. Dressel has worked both for international engineering and entrepreneurial companies over the last 25 years. He started his professional career with Siemens, a large German conglomerate where he worked for over 20 years. As Vice President and Chief Information Officer within Asia Pacific and the Americas, he played a key role in building the technology infrastructure for the growth of Siemens' businesses. Prior to this assignment, Jan served Siemens in a diversified career and held several key positions in IT, operations management and finance in Canada and the U.S.
Most recently he held the title of president and chief executive officer with Soventix Canada Inc., a German based manufacturer of solar modules, which Mr. Dressel supported with its market entry and set-up of manufacturing in Canada.
