Tieto wins the European SAP Mobile Apps challenge

Tieto's Mobile Mill Hub Application is the winner of the European SAP Innovation
Challenge for Manufacturing Mobile Apps. The evaluation of applications was
based on categories including value, problem solving, innovation and ease of
use. The Mobile Mill Hub is a mobile SAP application designed for managers to
gain access to critical business processes within the manufacturing industry. It
enables fast reaction to changes and smooth operation.
Among a lot of excellent Apps in the area of SAP manufacturing which were
participating in this challenge, Tieto's Mobile Mill Hub was selected by the SAP
jury as the winner. "The main reason for winning the competition was that our
App was presented based on use-cases that managers need to perform in their
daily work independent of where they are," comments Thomas Schenk, Tieto's
Business Owner for SAP Mobility.
The Mobile Mill Hub provides an innovative mobile solution which is the result
of Tieto's long track-record in the manufacturing industry, SAP processes and
mobile solutions.
