Refurbished Lobby Promises Functional Guest Space for Unique Hotel Experience

One of the most popular features of this Channel Islands Harbor will be the Marriott's own GoBoard technology, an interactive 55-inch LCD touch screen beaming with directions, meeting information, weather, news and sports headlines.
Media pods will be located throughout the lobby, providing guests a more intimate setting for socializing with family or business associates, so whether it's time for work or time for play, there's a place to gather. Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the property so the new lobby is ideal for catching up on emails and connecting with family and friends in a warm, yet vibrant atmosphere.
The traditional front desk will be replaced with welcome pedestals that allow hotel associates to connect with guests upon check-in, while also giving staff the opportunity to educate guests about the functional role the lobby plays in providing them with a unique and satisfying hotel experience.
In addition to the Channel Islands, CA hotel's new open spaces, lobby dining will be available from the hotel's new S Bar, which will be open daily for breakfast and dinner. Brewing delicious Starbucks coffee and providing guests with healthy and hearty breakfast options as well as grab 'n' go items that help facilitate the hectic schedules of business travelers, the stylish design of The Bistro eatery will be outdone only by its fine offering snacks and menu items. Breakfast sandwiches, fast and fresh fruits and cereals will be offered along with pan and griddle entrées allowing guests to determine if they want to eat on the run or enjoy a sit down morning meal. Other food options will include sandwiches, pizza, snacks, seasonal items, soups and salads along with a variety of cocktails, beer and wine by the glass.
