May 5th World Realization Day
42 Years of Sahaja Yoga Meditation
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 05/05/12 -- May 5th marks World Realization Day, also known as Sahastrara Day, celebrating 42 years since the historical advent in human evolution when Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi first experienced her self-realization on a beach in Nargol, India in 1970. Man had been seeking this connection for decades, but this awakening of the Kundalini power within us was experienced by only very few throughout history. Shri Mataji realized that by reaching into the torsion area described by Einstein she could witness the beauty of Lao Tze's "Tao" and connect mankind to the energy all around us. This connection she described as a source of "tremendous joy," emerging like a fountain from the soul. Since then, she has spread this message and method of experiencing true "yoga," or union, to hundreds of thousands of people, completely free of charge. Her teachings are the basis of Sahaja Yoga Meditation, now practiced in over 100 countries around the world.
Shri Mataji, who served as a spiritual consultant to Mahatma Gandhi in her youth, is the founder of Sahaja Yoga and has been described as the most eminent world spiritual leader of the century. She has twice been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and is a UN Peace Medal recipient. She described the opening of the Sahastrara, or crown chakra situated on the fontanel bone area, as the last step in the evolution of mankind.
Medical professionals in various countries continue to medically prove the results of this tremendously beneficial meditation, in order to properly document this great moment of realization in humanity's history. Shri Mataji says, "Even the Greeks knew about this, they named it the fontanel bone area, it is the Sahastrara, and when it is opened a fountain of cool breeze, a torrential rain of joy showers down on you and covers your being".
Many scriptures and prophets have spoken of this time in human evolution when we would have the means of perfect physical, emotional, mental and spiritual balance. The unique technique of Sahaja Yoga, discovered by Shri Mataji on May 5th, 1970, is now practiced and taught worldwide, as people reach out to others and share this message of peace and love, in the form of en masse realization in public programs, schools, hospitals, even prisons. Even though Shri Mataji is no longer with us, her vision and love has touched the hearts of many and her meditation techniques have united thousands worldwide.
Every year on May 5th, World Realization Day, we share the joy of the Kundalini awakening with the rest of mankind by trying to reach as many seekers as possible, who desire this cooling, unifying and joyful experience. Shri Mataji says, "This is your birthright, it is the truth and the truth cannot be paid for." You can experience your self-realization online or at thousands of locations in over 100 countries around the globe.
