(Munich, May 4th, 2012) European Games Group AG, the entrepreneurial online
and mobile games publisher in whom Venatus Interactive plc have 9.09%
financial stake, announced that the new launches of the Hero Zero game
(Developer: Playata GmbH) in France and Poland in April have exceeded
expectations with 75,000 new registrations each within the first three
weeks. Together with the game's continued strong growth on the domestic side
this gives Hero Zero 375,000 registered users (versus 110,000 in February
and 175,000 in March), and 120,000 monthly active users (versus 46,000 in
February, and 53,000 in March).
The next step on European Games Group's international front is the launch in
May of the Slick Sleeve game (original title: 'Schulterglatze' - Developer:
Unikat Media GmbH) into the Turkish markets where a significant interest for
this type of game has already been identified. Slick Sleeve currently has
340,000 registered users in Germany and Poland.
Both games show a healthy pay-user conversion rate above industry standard.
The company also plans to release two new games this year which promise
substantial international impact. CEO Johannes Sevket Gözalan: 'We are very
excited how this year started and with the impressive growth curve of Hero
Zero and our company. We are right on target to establish ourselves and our
business model before year end not only in Germany but the ten most
important markets globally.'
