Joyou AG: 59 new stores in Q1 2012

Frankfurt am Main, 02 May 2012. Joyou AG, a leading bathroom solution
provider in China, opened another 59 new points of sales in the first
quarter of 2012 (Q1 2011: 81). Including these new stores, the company's
distribution network comprises 3,957 Joyou branded sales outlets throughout
China as of 31 March 2012.
Joyou is still concentrating on growth in small and medium-sized Chinese
cities. 64% of the new stores opened in Q1 2012 are in tier 3 and tier 4
cities. Joyou opened 3 new flagship stores, 31 exclusive stores, and 25 are
authorised stores.
Joyou intends to further increase its number of stores to 4,500 by 2013.
The company is still focusing on increasing sales per store and expanding
or refurbishing some of the key existing stores. During the full year 2012,
Joyou plans to open about 200 new stores.
The Q1 2012 financial report will be published on 15 May 2012.

Sanitary Hardware, Copper and Semi-Finished Components, Grohe Business. In
2011, Joyou realised group revenues of EUR 287.1 million, an operating
profit (EBIT) of EUR 45.3 million and a net profit of EUR 38.5 million.
