Ergoresearch Announces Creation of Ergorecherche France
Firm order for fifteen Expert-fit(TM) systems
(firmenpresse) - LAVAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwire) -- 04/30/12 -- Quebec's design and manufacturing leader of "intelligent" custom fit foot orthotics and specialty orthoses, Ergoresearch Ltd (TSX VENTURE: ERG), announced today the creation of Ergorecherche France, a company that will enable the firm to extend its business activities to European markets.
With this investment, Ergoresearch is embarking on an international development plan in partnership with - Ergoresearch Ltd "historical" shareholder and France's leader in orthopedic devices - and Mr Guillaume Perrin, who will be acting as President and CEO of Ergorecherche France. "This investment enables the company to export its proprietary technologies and add a recurring revenue model to its operations," states Sylvain Boucher, President and CEO of Ergoresearch. "To date, the firm has already been rewarded with an order for fifteen Expert-fit™ systems, patented technology that's exclusive to Ergoresearch for manufacturing custom fit foot orthotics, thereby affirming the efficiency and superior value of our products on international markets." Orders from France are to be transmitted via computational server to Laval, QC, where the required specifications are processed to manufacture the custom fit orthotics.
Launched in 2011, the latest version of Expert-fit™ ingeniously combines imaging with foot imprints. It quickly established itself as the top bimodal system on the market and includes a podo-barometric sensor pad, an optical scanner and clinical software. The system provides an assessment along with optimal foot imprints, a complete medical report on foot condition, arch type, gait and anthropometry prior to creating the required custom fit foot orthotics.
Ergorecherche France's head office and plant are located in Dijon. The firm is equipped with numerical control machine tools supported by computer-aided design and manufacturing software that transmits data to Laval, and enables it to produce quality orthotics of remarkable precision and reproducibility on French territory.
