RCS Logistics Announces Two Key Appointments
(firmenpresse) - SECAUCUS, NJ -- (Marketwire) -- 04/30/12 -- RCS Logistics, a leading transport logistics company specializing in airfreight forwarding, today announced the promotions of Evan Rosen and Bill Wilkening to new positions within the company. Rosen and Wilkening will act as senior vice president of sales and marketing and vice president of business development and emerging markets, respectively.
In the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing, Rosen will continue to oversee the sales and marketing teams while building the RCS Logistics brand. He will concentrate on expanding the company's global customer base and driving the continued growth and value of existing customers.
Rosen joined RCS Logistics in 2006. He began his logistics career in 1994 as an account executive at OOCL USA, Inc. In 1996, Rosen joined Maersk Line, where he held various positions within the line and logistics organizations, including director of sales for the Hong Kong-based Maersk Logistics Asia. He became general manager of Global Key Clients in 2004, working closely with major retailers. He is a graduate of West Chester University in Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor's degree in communications.
As vice president of business development and emerging markets, Wilkening will play a critical role in the continued expansion of RCS Logistics in Europe and South America, allowing the company to better serve current and future customers on a global scale. He brings more than 17 years of international logistics experience to the new position.
Prior to joining RCS, Wilkening held several positions with Morrison Express Corp., including regional general manager for the East Coast, director of route development, director of European route development, and district manager for Atlanta. Wilkening first joined RCS Logistics in November 2009 as director of business development, and is based in Miami, where he successfully established the company's Latin America network operations and sales team. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, he holds a bachelor's degree in government and international studies.
