Former President of MLS Giant Honored With Distinguished Service Award
(firmenpresse) - LISLE, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 04/26/12 -- Midwest Real Estate Data (MRED), the Chicagoland multiple listing service (MLS), announced that its former President, Dean Rouso, was awarded the MRED Distinguished Service Award at a ceremony that took place during MRED's recent Strategic Planning conference in downtown Chicago.
Mr. Rouso, a Broker with Baird & Warner in LaGrange, Illinois, has been a member of MRED's Board since its inception in April 2008. In addition to his MLS service, Mr. Rouso has dedicated years of service to his local Association, the MainStreet Organization of Realtors®, as well as the Illinois and National Associations of Realtors®. In January 2010, he was elected to the office of MRED President and served until his successor's election in January 2012.
His years of service as an MRED Board member as well as President were of deep significance to the organization. It was under Rouso's leadership that a well-functioning Board of Managers was formed, and he spearheaded the search and selection process of MRED CEO Russ Bergeron. The success and prominence of MRED in the real estate industry is a tribute to the vision Rouso embraced and helped to implement. His contributions came at a critical time in the life of MRED which merited this special acknowledgement from MRED and its leadership.
