Atlantis Systems Corp. Announces Appointment of New Chairman of Its Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - BRAMPTON, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 04/25/12 -- Atlantis Systems Corp. (NEX: AIQ.H), a globally recognized training integrator in the military and commercial aviation markets, today is pleased to announce that David Williams has today been appointed as Chairman of the Board following the retirement of Henrik Noesgaard.
David, who has been a Director on the Board since 2004, replaces Henrik Noesgaard who served as the CEO until March 2012, a Director of the Corporation since November 2008, and Chairman of the Board since September 2010.
"I am pleased to assume the position of Chairman of the Board of Atlantis Systems Corp and look forward to working with each member of the Board to assist the new Management in building a successful company", said David Williams.
David is President of his investment company, Roxborough Holdings Limited, Toronto since 1994. From 1969 to 1993, he held senior management positions with Beutel Goodman Company, one of Canada's largest institutional money managers. Also, he has extensive Board experience, serving as Chairman of Bennett Environmental. Presently, he is a Director of SQI Diagnostics Inc., Tuckamore Capital, Western Copper Corporation and Radiant Energy Corporation.
Mr. Williams holds a Bachelors degree in Business from Bishop's University, Lennoxville, Quebec and an MBA from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. Mr. Williams is a Director of Bishop's University Foundation and is involved with a number of community-related projects.
