Southern Products, Inc. Receives a Substantial Order From Costco.com
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/25/12 -- Southern Products (OTCBB: SNPD), a manufacturer of "Assembled in the USA" flat-panel televisions received a recent order for 2,340 flat screen televisions from Costco.com along with a request for bid on an additional 10,000 more to be sold immediately. the largest membership chain in the United States. As of July 2011 it was the sixth largest retailer in the United States, and the seventh largest retailer in the world.
The order and follow up request for bid are for the Company's 42 inch Sigmac brand flat screen televisions.
The Company has already delivered over 5,000 of its Sigmac branded televisions to Costco over the past few months and still had 2,000 sets back ordered when the new request came to the company.
"The demand is completely outstripping our ability to supply product," said Ed Meadows, the Company's CEO. "We really need to double our efforts to meet the expanding consumer demand in our segment of the market. Costco is a premier retailer, especially in our market segment.
