(Thomson Reuters ONE) -

Southampton, PA, USA; April 25, 2012 - Environmental Tectonics Corporation
("ETC") was recently awarded an upgrade contract to modernize an aeromedical
center in eastern Europe for an undisclosed customer.  The contract is valued at
more than $9.3 million, and will include a total upgrade of the existing
aeromedical training facility.  The project is being accomplished by ETC's
Aircrew Training Systems (ATS) division, and will take twenty months to
complete.

ETC provided the original facility as a turn-key project in 1985 and has
provided numerous upgrades, enhancements, and new equipment over the years.
This continuum of excellence in providing service and technology resulted in
the issuance of this highly competitive contract award.  The aeromedical center
upgrade project will include two new systems:  a Night Vision Training System
and an Ejection Seat Simulator; as well as the upgrades of the existing Altitude
Chamber and the Human Centrifuge.  These upgrades will include a total overhaul
of the equipment leaving only the major structural elements and providing state
of the art latest ETC technology that will increase the training value and
prolong the life and effectiveness of the equipment.

In order to minimize the training interruptions, ETC will be performing the
upgrades and installation of new equipment on a staggered schedule.  Upon
completion ETC will provide follow-on services in the form of a warranty package
and an on-site maintenance contract.

William F. Mitchell, President and CEO of ETC said, "ETC is pleased to have been
chosen to continue its work for this important client.  We believe that this is
the most cost effective solution offering increased training capabilities,
sustainment, availability, and reliability for years to come."

ETC is a world leader in the aeromedical field and has installed and supported
equipment in 86 nations worldwide. ETC applies the latest technology to meet
evolving pilot, aircrew, and maintenance technician training needs.  ETC's
interactive tactical flight simulators, instrument/navigation trainers, and
aerospace physiological training systems provide pilots with realistic training
for tactical flying, high G forces, spatial disorientation, situational
awareness, ejection procedures and decision making, oxygen equipment use,
altitude physiology, night vision, night vision goggle use, and land/water
survival.
