Labhart Miles Celebrates 10th Anniversary by Donating to Milpitas Non-Profit
(firmenpresse) - SAN JOSE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/24/12 -- Silicon Valley-based firm Labhart Miles Consulting Group, Inc. named the Humane Society Silicon Valley to receive $1,000 as the second installment of their $10,000 Charity Initiative, which will run through December 2012. A new charity will be selected to receive Labhart Miles' gift each month in honor of the firm's 10th anniversary.
"Labhart Miles' generous gift of $1,000 will go a long way to help our animals!" said Bridget Keenan, Director of Development at Humane Society Silicon Valley. "$1,000 translates to 200 vaccinations for our cats and dogs to keep them healthy, 40 neuter surgeries to keep hundreds of homeless kittens from being born, or covering the cost of rescuing and caring for three more animals until they find a home. We are so appreciative that Bill and Monika believe in our work and chose to include us in their thoughtful plan of celebrating their company's 10-year anniversary by giving back to our community."
Humane Society Silicon Valley is dependent on the support of individuals and organizations, as they don't receive funding from the government or Humane Society of the United States.
"We are thrilled our gift can help make a difference for so many, which is really the whole point of our $10,000 Charity Initiative," said Monika Miles, President of Labhart Miles.
Labhart Miles will select charities in a variety of fields, from soup kitchens and food banks to children's organizations and cancer societies. In addition to non-profits that are near and dear to the principals' hearts, they're looking for causes that provide valuable services to the greater community.
