Parliamentary Secretary Eve Adams Visits Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 04/19/12 -- On behalf of the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs, Eve Adams, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Veterans Affairs and Member of Parliament for Mississauga-Brampton South, today toured the Veterans Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto.
One of the largest facilities of its kind, the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre spans across two wings of the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Ms. Adams took part in the residents' afternoon social hour, taking the opportunity to visit and speak with Veterans living at Sunnybrook and to meet with the facility's staff.
"Our Government's top priority is to ensure our Veterans and their families receive the care and support they need, when they need it," said Minister Blaney. "I commend the staff at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre for their dedication and commitment to providing exceptional, personalized long-term care to our nation's truest heroes."
