William G. Dorey Joins 1st Capital Bank's Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - MONTEREY, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 04/17/12 -- (OTCBB: FISB): 1st Capital Bank today announced the appointment of William G. Dorey to the Bank's Board of Directors. Mr. Dorey is the former Chief Executive Officer of Granite Construction, Inc. and continues to serve as Granite's Director of the Board.

Mr. Dorey is Founding Chairman of Construction Industry Ethics Compliance Initiative (CIECI) Steering Committee and a Trustee of the Norman Y. Mineta International Institute for Surface Transportation Policy Studies. He is also Director of California Chamber of Commerce and California Business Roundtable, and the President of White Rock Club. He has served on the Construction Industry Round Table (CIRT), Cal Poly Dean's Advisory Council, and the Caltrans/ AGC Liaison Committee. He is a Past Director of TIC, Wilder Construction and Carmel Youth Baseball. Mr. Dorey was honored for his work in the community by the Junior Achievement of Silicon Valley and Monterey Bay in 2009 and is an active supporter of the Boys and Girls Club of the Monterey Peninsula.
Mr. Dorey is filling the vacancy recently created by the retirement of founding Board Member Carl Edward Holden. Mr. Holden was instrumental in the opening of the Bank and the Bank wishes him the best in his retirement.
