Spokane's Joshua Hawker Wins TransUnion's Fuel Your Finances Facebook Photo Contest
TransUnion Awards Driver With $5,000 Gas Gift Card to Help One Lucky Individual Accelerate Toward the Goal of Living a More Debt Free Life
(firmenpresse) - CHICAGO, IL -- (Marketwire) -- 04/17/12 -- Today, TransUnion announced that Joshua Hawker from Spokane, Washington has won its Fuel Your Finances Facebook Photo Contest and a $5,000 gas gift card to help him down the road to better managing his finances.

Launched February 13 on the TransUnion Facebook page, the contest centered on helping drivers accelerate toward their goal of living a more debt free life -- by awarding them with free gas for a year. The TransUnion Facebook page also provided credit tips to all who visited and voted for their favorite photo. More than 150 individuals participated and together received a grand total of 61,496 votes during the five-week contest.
To enter, individuals visited between February 13 and 24 and uploaded a picture of themselves at the gas pump holding a sign saying "I Love TransUnion" or "I Heart TransUnion" along with a short explanation why the prize money was important to them.
TransUnion selected 9 quarter-finalists each week for four weeks to be voted on by fans on Facebook. The semi-finalists from each of the four weeks then competed in the finals. In addition to the Grand Prize winner, three runners-up each received a $250 gift card to the gas station of their choice. All finalists also received a year subscription to TransUnion products.
