The dynamic prices are used to trigger a Demand Side Management (DSM) for selected home devices. Given a green energy scenario, the focus would be on the substitution of fossil fuels (gas, oil) for water heating of private households in times when excessive and cheap renewable energy from the electricity grid is available.
